New pedals

My Klein Pulse is over ten years old now and in that time I haven’t had to make any major changes to the components. But this spring it’s going to get a few new bits. First, and easiest, thing to change is the pedals. DMR V12 pedals The old bear-trap stype pedals that came with the bike did well to last this long, but the bearings eventually went and so I wanted to replace them. For the last few years I’ve been riding without toe-clips so I had a look at a few platform pedals. I decided on DMR V12s. They are a bit pricey and not the lightest, but are a great pedal. Sticky and a good concave shape. I would have liked to get them in red, but couldn’t find them anywhere so in the end settled for Oxblood red instead, which have turned out to be nicely understated. A good buy!
